Raging Fyah, one of the fastest rising roots reggae bands from Kingston, Jamaica, are moving from strength to strength. The Grammy-nominated ensemble just release a new single on the Lovetrain Riddim produced by Llamar “Riff Raff” Brown for Nebilus Records. The song is entitled Rebel.
The riddim is warm and easy, the melodies bright and the mesaage is righteous. “Road of life gets rocky,” sing Kumar “Kumz” Bent. “but you know you’ve got to trod along.” This is real roots rock reggae straight out of Jamaica.
We were just informed that Freddie McGregor and his Big Ship Band will be performing at Nectar Lounge (412 North 36th Street) in Seattle, Washington on Thursday, June 21st. This is a 21 and older event, which will begin at 8PM with an entrance fee of $22.50 USD.

Singer Dann-I will make his debut performance outside of Jamaica, when he performs at Reggae on the Hill in Barbados on April 29. The event takes place at the Farley Hill National Park.
Life Teachings is the latest rhythm project from Young Vibez Production. This rhythm features a stellar line up of reggae artists, namely: Chris Martin, Bugle, Gyptian, Natural Blacks and Vybrant. Though the overall lyrical content varies between motivational and intimate relationships, each artist delivered. As such, Life Teachings Riddim is a must have for every reggae collector.
