The Classic Reggae Show returns to Lolas (15 Island Inn Road, Oakbluffs, Massachusetts) on July 4th. The event, which is being presented by Vineyard Caribbean Cuisine Inc, will feature a live performance by established Jamaican reggae artist Glen Washington. He will be supported by Tsunami, Ken-Dallazz and Blivion with backing band Island Thunder.

On May 6th, Agent Sasco, also known as Assassin, shared the visuals for his song “Mama Prayed.” As the track title suggest, the song is a dedication to his, and presumably all mothers. “Mama Prayed” will be featured on Assassin’s upcoming album, but it was released early in time for Mother’s Day.
The winning artist has been teasing is social media followers with snippets of the video for the past week and a half; but the wait is now over! Persons can watch the full video on his personal YouTube channel, Sasco TV.
The Victoria Warehouse in Manchester, England was a kaleidoscope of activity over the weekend as Reggae firebrand Nesbeth kept the Jamaican banner flying high in the North-Western English city.
The occasion was the 2018 instalment of the Manchester Loves Reggae Festival which unfolded on Friday, May 4 and Nesbeth not only brought the ‘Dream’ but delivered a fiery performance, a welcome change to the bleak weather conditions currently affecting that space. Armed with his band and background singers the Rastafarian crooner kept patrons engaged as he unravelled his growing catalogue of hits during a well-received set. Other commendable presentations came courtesy of compatriots Tarrus Riley, Jahmiel and Cham.
Later this week Nesbeth will head south to Birmingham for an appearance at the Heavenz Wine Bar, Hollow Way Circus on Saturday, May 12 amidst a media blitz to promote his upcoming album ‘A.M.E.N’ slated for release later this year.

Reggae music’s living legend, Jimmy Cliff, is currently in the midst of a world tour which started at the end of March and will wrap up in mid August.
That being said, for the month of May he will be making stops in the following territories: Zurich, Switzerland (on the 22nd), Tokyo, Japan (on the 25th), Yokohama, Japan (on the 26th) and Derbyshire, UK (on the 27th).

Known for his outspoken social commentaries and conscious messages, veteran reggae recording artist Luciano has remained constant in his musical mission.
