All songs were produced by Winta James, and recorded at the legendary Marley-owned Tuff Gong Studios in Kingston. It maintains the essence of Jamaican roots music, while pushing the envelope.

Dann-I’s Latest Single ”When She High” Gets International Exposure (@RIDDIMDONMEDIA @DamarahDanni)

danniIn a move to reach music lovers outside of Jamaica, the team behind the promotion of singer Dann-I’s latest single When She High is reaping success.
When She High is currently enjoying heavy rotation on international platforms including Hot 97 in New York, Irie Jam Radio, Linkage Radio, Red Hot Radio, Radio Joe in Puerto Rico, Jugglerz Radio in Germany, One love Radio in Connecticut and Pipel FM in Paramaribo, Suriname.
In a release to the media Dann-I expressed how he felt about the latest turn of events.
‘Well it is a phenomenal feeling and I am especially overwhelmed by the international support that the song has been getting so far,’ said Dann-I.
His team has promised to keep pushing the song at other radio stations internationally.
Dann-I spoke about the inspiration behind She’s High.
‘The inspiration came about after hearing personal testimonies from several female herbalists,’ Dann-I confided.
When She High is produced by Sons of Spoon Music.  A video for the song was released in April.  The video was shot in sections of Jack’s Hill in St. Andrew and Mandeville, Manchester.
‘The response to the video has been great so far. The director and editor did an impressive job, and everyone who has seen the video, has commended the lighting and use of props.  All positive feedback,’ said Dann-I.
The video was directed by Simeon Hedge.
Dann-I’s upcoming performances include 150 Shots on July 29 in Whitehouse, Westmoreland and the CME Awards in Canada on September 23.

Roots Reggae Singer, Likkle Lightning, Now In Jamaica Promoting His Recently Released Collaboration With Turbulence (@likklelightning @Turbulence876)

Likkle LightningEarlier this year, roots reggae artist Likkle Lightning, who is based in the United States, recorded and released a collaboration with established reggae artist Turbulence. The song is a remix of his single “Early Morning Flash,” which is featured on his album, Conditions of Life.

Since its release, “Early Morning Flash (Remix)” has been getting good support from both radio and club DJs. That being said, Likkle Lightning is now on the island and is making himself available for interviews and shows, all in an effort to shed more light on the record.

Billy SlaughterLegendary selector, Billy Slaughter, from the world immortal Stone Love sound, will be crowned at Cha Cha’s birthday bash in Miami on Saturday, July 7th. The event, which is being done by Cha Cha, in collaboration with C & F Promotion, will be held at The Villa night club – located at 19501 NW 2nd Avenue – in North Miami.

In addition to Billy Slaughter and other members from the Stone Love camp,  Tek9 Sound, X-Squad, Richie Pooh, Agent Movements and others will also be featured.

Nesbeth black & whiteFor the past few years recording artiste Nesbeth has lived a life filled with physical and spiritual trials and triumphs, but through it all, what has become evident is the strength of his mental resolve and a noticeable growth in his music.

Nowhere, is that better showcased than in his latest offering titled ‘Remove My Enemy,‘ the first single from his upcoming album A.M.E.N. The song alludes to Nesbeth asking the Almighty to eliminate the foes from his life but in an ironic twist, he notices the sudden disappearance of many of his close relatives and friends.
