Skajamz Band’s Remastered Version Of “Simmer Down” Now Available For Pre-order

The Skajamz Band, based in Florida, is getting ready to release the remastered version of their trending single Simmer Down. The hit song, which was originally released by Bob Marley & The Wailers, was remixed by Skajamz Band and has gotten great reviews from industry insiders.

In an attempt to fully exploit the record, Skajamz has remastered their version and will be publishing it on January 11th. That being said, the single can now be pre-ordered via iTunes.

After taking a short hiatus, Ruach Ru will be re-launching her popular event ‘Pon Di Endz’ on Wednesday, January 30th. This staging will be held at the Kgn10 Sports Bar & Grill, located at 1a Hillview Avenue (off Eastwood Park Road).

On June 15th Ken Boothe will join the acoustic roots group Inna De Yard on their show at the The Olympia (located at 28 boulevard des Capucines) in Paris, France. This event is in support of Inna De Yard‘s upcoming album, which is scheduled to be released in April; as well as a documentary (featuring several reggae acts), which will be out in June.

On January 18th and 19th all roads will lead to Grizzly’s Plantation Cove in Priory, St. Ann, Jamaica for the 2019 staging of the annual Rebel Salute stage show. Among the many acts confirmed for this year are: Turbulence, Junior Kelly, Randy Valentine, King Kong, Marvin Moore, Agent Sasco, and that is just to name a few.

On both days, gates will open at 5 PM and the show will begin at 7PM (Jamaica time). General admission is $5,000 JMD, while VIP is $9,000 JMD per night. Click here to purchase tickets.

Richie Spice To Perform In Nairobi, Kenya On Feb. 16th (@1richiespice)

Veteran reggae recording artist, Richie Spice, will perform at The Kenyatta International Conference Center (located at Harambee Avenue) in Nairobi, Kenya on Saturday, February 16th. The event, which is dubbed “Nobody Can Stop Reggae,” is being hosted by The Hype Group Limited, and will start at 7 PM (Kenya time).

Regular tickets are going for Kshs 1,500 and can be purchased online via Ticket Sasa.

After teasing a remix, Agent Sasco has now officially released the collaboration with Popcaan for the remake of “Banks Of The Hope.” In addition to Popcaan’s verse, Agent Sasco, for his part, added some new lyrics, which are just as strong as what he had before.
