The 8th staging of Singers in Action will be held at the Ford Amphitheater at Coney Island Boardwalk (3052 W 21st Street) in Brooklyn, New York on Sunday, August 4th. The headlining act for the event is non other than the king of lover’s rock, Mr. Beres Hammond. The legendary singer will be joined by the man of the moment, Romain Virgo and veteran British reggae artist, Maxi Priest.

Tickets, which range from $35 to $150 USD, can be purchased via Live Nation.

On June 19th, arguably one of the biggest reggae events in Germany will kick off in the city of Dortmund. Known as Ruhr Reggae Summer, the three-day event will feature some of the biggest names in reggae music, namely: Chronixx & Zinc Fence Redemption, Inner Circle, Jah9, Etana, and that is just to name a few.

TD will be hosting their 2019 Irie Music Festival at Mississauga Celebration Square (across from Square One Shopping Centre) in Ontario on Friday, June 21st (6 PM – 11 PM) and Saturday, June 22nd (1 PM – 11 PM). There will be a slew of musical entertainment but the main highlights are: Junior Reid (Friday) and Farmer Nappy (Saturday).

In addition to the music, there will also be Jerk Food Competition, Caribbean & International Food Vendors, a Beer Garden and a VIP Lounge. This event is free to the public.

The 2019 staging of Reggae Geel, one of Europe’s oldest reggae festivals, will take place on both Friday, August 2nd and Saturday, August 3rd. Their lineup this year is the best it’s ever been, as they have locked in Buju Banton‘s ‘Long Walk to Freedom Tour.’ As such, the following Jamaican entertainers will be on the show: Buju Banton, Agent Sasco, Richie Spice, I Wayne, Bushman, Busy Signal, Kumar, Rootz Underground and The Congos.
