After the successful release of the single “Steppa,” Buju and his team have now followed up with the full rhythm driven project. The Steppa Riddim was published on February 28th via his own Gargamel Music label, under exclusive license to Roc Nation.

After two successful staging of the event dubbed ‘Our Ting Our Way,’ the organizer, Blakkwuman22 Music, has decided to make it a weekly occurrence. It will now take place every Friday from 7 PM to midnight at 321 1/2 Molynes Road (at the foot of Red Hills, next to the gas station) in Kingston, Jamaica.

‘Our Ting Our Way‘ is basically a gathering of artists, predominantly lyricists, capable of exciting an audience with his or her lyrical prowess. They get together in a small venue and trade bars (lyrics) over various tracks.
