On Thursday, November 21st, Appleton Estate will be hosting Capleton at the Jungle Fiah Lounge (AMC Plaza, Bayside) in Portmore, Jamaica.
In addition to the live band show, Selector Krazy Kris will also be on hand to provide additional music. The event is scheduled to start at 7:00 PM and there is no cover charge.
Reggae Jam – Meeting of the Legends, is a family friendly reggae music festival that’s scheduled to take place on Sunday, December 29th at the Ronald L Book Athletic Stadium (2555 Northeast 151st Street) in
North Miami Beach, Florida.
The main headliner is Grammy award winning reggae band Steel Pulse, formed over 45 years ago in Birmingham, England. The event will also star another Grammy winning reggae band, Inner Circle, most famous for their Bad Boys theme song.
The Grammy award reggae group, Morgan Heritage, will start the new year by making a stop in Birmingham, Alabama on Sunday, January 5th. They will perform at the popular venue, Saturn, which is located at 200 41st St S, in the aforementioned City and State.
This event is scheduled to run from 7:00 to 11:00 PM, and there will be a general admission fee.
On Wednesday, January 1st, gospel recording artist Jodian Pantry will be hosting ‘Gospel Tenacity 2020’ at the Old Police Station in May Pen, Clarendon. She will be supported by a slew of her musical colleagues, namely: Kevin Heath, Jermaine Edwards, Rhoda Isabella, Sherlon (from Digicel Rising Stars), George Nooks, Tasha Masha and Gassy Bless.
The show will run from 6:00 PM to midnight and there is a $1,500 JMD entrance fee at the gate.
The raining queen of reggae, Marcia Griffiths, will join veteran female dancehall artist, Lady G, for a live show at Club Viva on Friday, November 15th. The venue is located at 408 N. Euclid Avenue in St. Louis, Missouri. The ladies will be supported by DJ Witz, Dezirie, Rayne and the all female backing band Rayzalution.
Doors will open at 9:00 PM, while the show itself is schedule to begin at 11:00 PM. Patrons should keep in mind that there is an admission fee of $30 USD at the gate.
Pamoja Events, a Kenyan organization established to promote local and international artists, alongside Nation FM, one of Kenya’s biggest radio station, will be hosting Jamaica’s living legend, Luciano, in an event dubbed “Serve Jah Reggae Concert.”
The artist will perform live at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre in Nairobi, Kenya, on December 24th. He will be supported by Gravitti Reggae Band, DJ Moh, Miss Katiwa, Stephantom Wagambo, MC Jah Watchman and DJ Kingman.
This is currently one of the most anticipated Christmas events in Kenya, as it is scheduled to run from December 24th at 6:00 PM to December 25th at 5:00 AM.
UK based reggae artist, IfaTunde Orunmila, will be heading back to Jamaica this month as he plans on shooting the official video for his single “All Over The World.” The song is a collaboration with veteran reggae artist Mikey General, and it is featured on IfaTunde‘s recently released album, Melanin.
