On Saturday, February 15th Kabaka Pyramid, Iba Mahr, Jemere Morgan, The No-Maddz and others will perform at the Jamnesia Showcase at Skyline Levels (6B Skyline Drive) in Jack’s Hill, Kingston, JA.
The event is scheduled to begin at 9:00 PM local time and there is a $3,500 JMD entrance fee.
On Friday, February 14th, established reggae artist Glen Washington will perform at the annual Reggae Night – Conscious Party at Palm Valley, Grande Riviere in Dennery, St. Lucia.
Presented by Valley Rock Promotions, this year’s event is dubbed the Red & White Edition; with host Marlon Clovis. It’s scheduled to start at 7 PM local time.
On Friday, February 14th, the big ship captain Freddie McGregor will perform at the grand opening for Plantation Smokehouse in Richmond, St. Ann, Jamaica. He will be backed by his very own Big Ship Band.
Starting time is 9:00 PM, and there is a $1,000 JMD entrance fee.
On Saturday, February 15th, Third World, Sanchez, The Melodians, Deniece Williams and others, will honor the legacy of the cool ruler, Gregory Isaacs, at The Liguanea Club (5 Knutsford Blvd.) in Kingston, Jamaica. This event, which is organized by the Gregory Isaacs Foundation, is scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM.
“Red Rose for Gregory” is an official Reggae Month event, supported by Jamaica’s Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport.
Tonight, Friday, February 7th, Jamaican reggae legends, The Mighty Diamonds, will perform at Moe’s Alley (1535 Commercial Way) in Santa Cruz, California. They will be supported by KavaJah & The Remedy.
This event is schedule to run from 9:00 PM to 12:30 AM local time, and there is a $30 USD entrance fee.
Ineffable, in collaboration with The Mateel present Steel Pulse live at the Mateel Community Center, located at 59 Rusk Lane in Redway, California, on Saturday, February 15th.
Doors will open at 8:00 PM, local time, and there is $40 USD entrance fee.
Initially planned for the 8th, Buju Banton‘s concert has been postponed and is now scheduled for February 15th at the KICC in Nairobi, Kenya. Please see below the official press release from the organizers, NRG Radio, explaining why they had to push back the show.

Thank you all so much, especially the thousands of you who have purchased tickets to the much anticipated Buju Bunton Concert which was slated for this Saturday- 8th Feb 2020 at KICC. Unfortunately, and in the spirit of celebrating and in honour of the presidential proclamation on the passing away of H.E Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi – we have been forced to postpone the event following the announcement of a period of National Mourning. The viewing of the Former president Moi’s body is slated for Saturday 8th & Sunday 9th at parliament which presents a logistical challenge to host the event at KICC.
In this regard and with close consultation with the Government and the venue management- we have postponed the event from 8th February 2020 to 15th February 2020, at the same venue- KICC from 6pm. Please be advised that we shall honour all the tickets already purchased, all sponsors and Partners. Our line-up remains the same and Buju Bunton is fired up to deliver a great show. We are committed to ensure that we live up to all our fans expectations.
