New Reggae Video Featuring Turbulence (@Turbulence876)

In mid November, Australian producer Monkey Marc released his thirteen-track album, titled “Vital Sound.” The record features collaborations with some of Jamaica’s biggest reggae stars, namely: Sizzla, Fantan Mojah, Capleton, Turbulence, Dre Island and Iba Mahr.

One of the stand out songs on the project is “Rebel Code,” track number two, performed by Turbulence, Blvk H3ro and Yeza. The official video premiered on Monkey Marc‘s YouTube channel a few days ago. Click here or on the image above to check it out and remember to like, comment and share.

New Reggae Release From Raging Fyah (@RagingFyah)

One of Jamaica’s most talented reggae bands, Raging Fyah, is back with a brand new self titled single. The song is featured on VP Records’ newly released compilation, “Strictly The Best Vol. 61.”

As a lover of authentic roots-reggae music, it is always refreshing to hear new tunes from Raging Fyah, a group that has been through a lot but still manages to consistently create good, quality songs. Click here to listen and download their new track “Raging Fire.”

Here Is The Full Lineup For The Virtual Return Of ‘Reggae Sunsplash’ (@SunsplashReggae)

I want to begin this article by first saying kudos to the organizers of this year’s ‘Reggae Sunsplash.’ With all that is going on, not just here in Jamaica but in reggae and dancehall communities around the world, it must have been a mountainous task to switch from an in-person paid festival to a scaled-down virtual concert that’s free to everyone.

That being said they’ve been able to do it! Here is what Maria Jackson Magazine believe to be the full and complete lineup for 2020: Ras-I, Tanya Stephens, Richie Spice, Capleton (night one); Agent Sasco, Romain Virgo, Dexta Daps, Masicka and Jesse Royal (night two).

Reggae and dancehall lovers from all around the globe are invited to watch the entire show live on Reggae Sunsplash‘s YouTube channel. It will begin streaming live at 5:30 PM (local time) on both November 27th and 28th.

Lutan Fyah’s Birthday Celebration Set For Dec. 6th

On Sunday, December 6th, Lutan Fyah will celebrate his birthday at an event called ‘Perfect Storm.’ This is a reggae concert that will feature performances from various artists, namely: Gyptian, Chezidek, Iba Mahr, Spectacular, Rockaz Elements and of course Lutan Fyah. The performers will be supported by Lutan‘s own Riddim Rebel Band.

This event will stream live from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM (Jamaica time) via stream876 dot com.

Yellow Man & Admiral Tibbet Added To The Lineup For Major Mackerel’s Benefit Concert

At the beginning of November we announced that Capleton, Agent Sasco, Fred Locks, Burru Banton, Peter Metro and Chaka Demus and Pliers would all be performing on Major Mackerel‘s benefit concert on December 12th. We are now learning that three other veteran artists have been added to that lineup: Yellow Man, Admiral Tibbet and Prince Alla.

The event, which will stream live via majormackerel dot veeps dot com, is schedule to start at 4:30 PM EST. Tickets are $20.99 USD. Please support this show as it’s for a good cause.
