Reggae Artist Talmigila Shares Lead Single From His New Album “Wake Up”

“Wake Up” is the new reggae single from Florida based roots singer Talmigila. The very confrontational song is the artist’s honest and frank opinion on the state of the world, specifically as it relates to the covid-19 pandemic.

He got the idea to do the record about a year ago when it became clear that the corona virus was rampant globally. Once he was able to truly digest the news and after much deliberation, Talmigila penned the words: ‘long time this world it need a shake up – all wickedness it need fi break up – and all who a sleep said a time fi wake up – some people dem need fi shape up’; which became the chorus for “Wake Up.”

The track was produced by Talmigila for his own Banjo Simmonds Production record label. He said the reason for doing this tune is ‘he would like people to pay more attention to what is going on in the world and in their surroundings.’

“Wake Up” is the first single on Talmigila‘s new album “Rise.”
