On Saturday, December 26th, Tuff Gong Pictures will present another installment of their series “Jam In.” Although the theme for this episode is ‘Sound of the Jamaican dancehall,’ it will feature veteran roots-reggae artist Richie Spice, comedian Christopher Johnny Daley, DJ Bruce Lee and others.

The show will stream live on Tuff Gong’s YouTube channel starting at 4 PM EST.

Duane Stephenson & Chevaughn Will Join Dean Fraser For His Virtual Nyabinghi Christmas Special on Dec. 21st

On Monday, December 21st, saxophonist Dean Fraser and the Nyabinghi Drummers will perform songs from Dean’s recently released ‘Nyabinghi Christmas‘ album. The record features 16 traditional Christmas tracks with a Nyabinghi twist.

The Nyabinghi Christmas Special, which will have opening sets from both Duane Stephenson and Chevaughn, will broadcast live from Tad’s Record studio starting at 9PM (Jamaica time). Viewers can watch the show on Tad’s Facebook and Instagram pages, as well as on their YouTube Channel.

Jah Mason Adds His Voice To The Popular ‘World Rebirth Riddim’ From Reggae Vibes Music (@ReggaeVibesMus1)

At the beginning of the summer U.S. based record label, Reggae Vibes Music, released the ‘World Rebirth Riddim.’ The ten-track compilation features music from several top-tier reggae artists, namely: Lutan Fyah, Tony Curtis, Yami Bolo, Turbulence, Anthony B, Jah Cure and Ginjah; as well as emerging talent Rufftop Rock I.

With songs from the project still trending on reggae platforms all over the world, Jah Mason is now adding his voice to the rhythm. The new song, titled “Mama Struggle,” is a tribute to his mother who he applauds for her commitment to hard work – specifically in farming – despite numerous challenges and roadblocks.

Mama Struggle” officially comes out today, Friday, December 18th. It can now be streamed and downloaded from all digital music stores. This is now the second mother tribute song on the album following Turbulence‘s “Tribute to Mama,” which was one of the lead singles.

Since the ‘World Rebirth Riddim‘ first came out, Reggae Vibes Music have ran various promotional campaigns to ensure its success. Most recently they held a mixtape contest involving selectors from all over the world. As a result of their ongoing efforts the ‘World Rebirth Riddim‘ is now widely regarded as one of the biggest reggae rhythm-driven projects so far in 2020.

St. Thomas recording artist Bushman spent the last two weeks hyping up his new single, “I Believe,” which was officially released today (December 16th). The absolutely amazing reggae tune – that also features Earl Chinna Smith – is heavy on guitar riffs and has a slow steady drum beat that completely enchants the listener.

At the end of November, the soulful Rasta singer Fantan Mojah released a beautiful song that all reggae lovers should check out.

The track is titled “Good Meditation,” and it has a powerful yet soothing instrumental which comes courtesy of the Dreadites. The very relaxing beat is complimented by Fantan‘s deep voice and laid back melody, as well as the strong message he delivered.
