After the success of the recently released For Me video, Turbulence and Reggae Vibes Music have once again joined forces on another single. The new record is dubbed Jamaica Holiday, and as the name implies it is all about promoting the island of Jamaica as an ideal vacation destination.
As we have come to expect from Reggae Vibes Music, Jamaica Holiday is a rich musical track that was created by Dan Grossman and his team at their studio in Seattle, Washington. The sweet reggae beat is complimented by Turbulence‘s melodious lead vocals (that were recorded at Wasp’s studio in Cassava Piece), as well as Stephanie Hava’s backing vocals.
When asked what is the inspiration behind this song, Turbulence said: “well that inspiration is coming from the riddim first, cause the riddim have that kind of flavor. It just feels like something you are passionate about and I am passionate about Jamaica and how beautiful Jamaica is; and the vibe and ambiance that Jamaica brings.”
Reggae Vibes‘ CEO and owner, Marlon Folkes, have stated that though Jamaica Holiday is being shared as a single right now, it will be featured on a rhythm-driven project at a later date. Folkes also took the opportunity to say that the entire Reggae Vibes Music team is driven by their “love of music and a firm belief that quality music always stand the test of time.”
North Carolina will be having a ‘Carolina Island Style‘ Afro-Caribbean experience on the first weekend in July. The three-day event will feature live performances from international artists, top Caribbean DJs and much more!
The festivities will kick off on Friday, July 2nd, with a high energy set by established soca artist Farmer Nappy. ‘Carolina Island Style‘ will take place at Bakadi Lounge, which is located at 4205 Monroe Road in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Popular Santa Cruz live music venue, Moe’s Alley, have announced that veteran reggae artist Don Carlos is confirmed, and will be performing live on August 28th. The locale is at 1535 Commercial Way in Santa Cruz, California.

The Island SPACE Caribbean Museum global launch is set for Sunday, June 27th from 6PM to 8PM EST, with the red carpet starting at 5:30PM. This is both an in-person, as well as a virtual celebration of the first-ever all-Caribbean museum.
Several celebrities and thought-leaders from around the region will be on hand to help tell the many stories of the Caribbean. The all-star line-up includes Marcia Griffiths, former Prime Minister PJ Patterson, Ato Boldon, Kevin Lyttle, Willie Stewart, Gordon Henderson, Inner Circle and many more.

The 18th annual Florida Jerk Festival will be held at the South Florida Fairground (9067 Southern Blvd.) in West Palm Beach on Sunday, July 4th. Patrons will be treated to performances from Shaggy, Skinny Fabulous and veteran reggae group LUST.
