Two R&B giants: Musiq Soulchild and Fantasia will be performing at the Santander Performing Arts Center (136 N 6th St, Reading) in Pennsylvania on February 24th. Tickets for this event can be purchased via Ticketmaster with price ranging from approximately $45 to $300.

On February 9th, international recording artist Ms. Lauryn Hill will be performing at the Neal S Blaisdell Arena (777 Ward Ave) in Honolulu, Hawaii. She will be joined by Filipino American singer, Eli-Mac, who came in ninth place on the third season of American Idol in 2004.

On November 17th, legendary recording artist Jimmy Cliff, in collaboration with Lenky Marsden, released a four tack EP, titled ‘Zen.’ The project features four of Jimmy Cliff‘s songs, all remixed by Lenky Marsden and publicized on his Diwali Records Label. The songs featured are: Life, As I Am, Love Song and Welcome Home.

Zen is now available on digital platform where music is sold.

Janet Jackson’s State of the World Tour, which kicked off in Lafayette on September 7^th, is, by all accounts, a complete success. Though there are still a number of dates remaining – the final show will be in December – MJ Magazine has gotten first hand feedback from several concert goers, and the general consensus is that Miss Jackson still has the rhythm for the nation.

With all that she’s been through, one would think Janet Jackson would want to recline into the background, opting to stay out of the public’s eye, but that is definitely not the case. Janet is fully engaged in her tour and very active on social media to boot. One source told us, “It’s as if she is excited about having her life back, the way it’s always been.”
