R&B artist Estelle will be heading back to the UK in May of this year for the Shindig Festival. The event will run from the 23rd through to the 26th at the Gilcombe Farm in Bruton, Somerset. On Saturday, February 23rd, Florida A & M University (located in Tallahassee) will be hosting the FAMU’s Harambee Festival, an event dedicated to unity in the community. The organizers are promising a day filled with live musical performances, vendors from across the region, cultural arts, workshops, fashion and food.
The highly acclaimed international artist Sunni Patterson has been confirmed as one of the headliners. Patterson, having performed at the Essence Festival and on HBO’s Def Jam, is expected to bring an artistic fusion of poetry, activism, and beautiful music to the event.
One of the lowest point of last evening’s GRAMMY Awards was when Drake’s honest, authentic and heartfelt speech was cut short. The artist was making a very timely and accurate speech to his fellow musicians about everyone already being winners as long as they are putting in the work and are being supported by their fans.
He was basically saying that no one needs a GRAMMY to legitimize their success in the music business, and for that he was apparently cut off. A few seconds after the artist made that statement the show went to a commercial break and Drake was cut-off. Today the GRAMMY is claiming that Drake’s speech was finished before they went to break; but no one is buying that.
Hence the headline question; why was Drake’s speech cut-off at the 2019 GRAMMY Awards?

The 2019 staging of the annual Cincinnati Music Festival will kick off on Thursday, July 25th and will wrap up on Saturday, July 27th. It will be held at the Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio.
This year will see a slew of major mega rhythm & blues as well as hip-hop acts taking to the stage. Some of the confirmed artists include: Kid Capri, Slick Rick, EPMD, Maxwell, Earth, Wind & Fire, Mary J. Blige, Blackstreet, Teddy Riley, Dave Hollister, and that is just to name a few.

On Sunday, February 17th, two of the most revered voices in rhythm and blues, Peabo Bryson and Regina Belle, will be performing at the Liguanea Club in New Kingston, Jamaica. Both artists will be supported by their respective bands. This event is scheduled to run from 7 PM to 12 AM.
