On the 18th the main attraction will be performances from: R.B.R.M. (Ronnie, Bobby, Rickey, Mike), Lil Kim and 702. On the 19th, hip-hop king pin Nas will be the highlight. He will be supported by Goodie Mob, Youngbloodz, Bilal and more. While Charlie Wilson and Loose Ends will be the headliners for the 20th.

Lauryn-HillOn Sunday, July 22nd, Ms. Lauryn Hill will be performing songs from her Grammy album, “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill,” at the Pitchfork Music Festival. As the album was released in August 1998, this is its 20 year anniversary.

Celebrating its 13th year in 2018, the internationally recognized Pitchfork Music Festival will present 40+ acts over the course of three days in Chicago’s Union Park. It’s expected to host 60,000 attendees of all ages from 45 states and 26 countries.

Common Satisfies Fans With New Album (@common @Augustgreenebnd)

commonNever one to disappoint, hip-hop artist, actor and activist Common, released a full length album titled “August Greene” on March 9th. The project is a collaborative effort with Grammy-winning pianist/producer Robert Glasper and drummer/producer Kerriem Riggins. The trio have formed a group, with the same name, and this album is their first release.

“August Greene” is now available via Amazon and it has been getting great reviews from music critics all over. The best way to sum up this project is that it’s mature hip-hop. Common has never been and is not now, on any kind of money trip, hype or fame buzz. He’s doing what he always does, speak to his people through his music.
