A few days ago Jamaican dancehall-gospel artist DJ Nicholas shared the video for his single “This World.” The song, which is released via GloHeart Music and On The Shout Inc., is all about the troubling state of the world.

The 21st Annual Super Bowl Gospel Celebration will take place on Thursday, January 30th at the James L Knight Center in Miami, Florida. The event, which is scheduled to start at 7:30 PM (local time), will feature performances from Donnie McClurkin, Travis Greene, Melvin Crispell III, Le’Andria Johnson and many more.

Anyone not able to attend the event can tune into BET on Saturday, February 1st at 8/7c as it will air then.

On Saturday, March 7th Gospel Breakthrough will host a concert to aid in the research and care of Breast Cancer. They have invited Ministers Chevelle Franklyn, Carlene Davis and others to perform.

This event will be held at the Bethel Convention Centre, located at Kelvin Way in West Bromwich, United Kingdom, from 12 noon to 22:00 GMT. Get tickets HERE.

On Thursday, January 9th, Trinidadian gospel artist Positive released a captivating video for his single “Stay Up.” The visuals were shot in Venice, Naples and Milan in Italy and shows the beauty of both the country and its people.

Jermaine Edwards, arguably one of the biggest gospel artist out of Jamaica, performed on day 1 (Friday, January 17th) at Rebel Salute – a roots, reggae, rasta festival. It is clear that he was not in his comfort zone when he hit the stage because he was noticeably holding back.

Although he eventually worked out the kinks and delivered his set, he did admit afterwards that “he was nervous because he is accustomed to performing on gospel and corporate events, and this was his first time on Rebel Salute.”

I personally wanted him to do a longer set. With such a big catalog, and this being his first time at this type of event, this was an opportunity to expand his fan base.

On Sunday, February 9th, Jonathan McReynolds will perform at the Troubadour (9081 Santa Monica Blvd) in West Hollywood, California. The event is scheduled to run from 7  to 10 PM PST.

The man from Guyana, Samuel Medas, is at it again! A few days ago he shared a powerful new video for his track “Can’t Be The Only One.” Though the record is available for purchase via all digital music stores, Medas is also giving away the song for free.
