Kukudoo To Headline Easter Gospel Show In Toronto

House of Praise Tabernacle presents an Easter Gospel Showdown on good Friday, April 10th at 6 PM. It will be held at 51 High Meadow Place in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Gospel recording artist Kukudoo has been confirmed as the headliner; he will be backed by the Warrior Love Band. The event will also feature performances from several other gospel talents.

There is a $35 CDN entrance fee for adults and $20 CDN for children.

Jamaican gospel recording artist Kevin Downswell is sharing his two brand new songs: “Carry Me” and “Super To My Natural.” Both songs are on his own Downswell Records label, and though he held a listening session for the tracks last month, they are just now being officially released.

Carry Me” sounds like a nine minute powerful prayer, presented in an international traditional gospel style. While “Super To My Natural” is a bouncy reggae gospel. Both songs are now available for streaming and download via all digital music platforms.

On Friday, April 10th, the 2020 GospelFest presented by A. Curtis Farrow, will be held at the Fiserv Forum (1111 Vel R Phillips Avenue) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It will feature performances from Yolanda Adams, Hezekiah Walker, Le’Andria Johnson, David and Tamela Mann.

Tickets, which are available via Ticketmaster, starts at $35 USD and goes all the way up to $105 USD.

On Friday, March 13th WLNO Radio, which airs on the 1060 AM dial in New Orleans, will be celebrating their four year anniversary at the Beacon Light International Baptist Cathedral (1937 Mirabeau Avenue).

They have invited several artists to join in the celebration, namely: Anthony Brown & Group Therapy, Ernest Pugh, Kayla Richardson, Titus Showers, Sherwin Gardner, The Williams Singers, James Pinckney with The Sound of Holiness and Josh Kagler & HPC.

The Kitson Town Gospel Concert & Food Festival will take place on Ash Wednesday, February 26th at the Kitson Town Primary School in West Central, St. Catherine, Jamaica.

There will be performances from a slew of trending gospel talents, namely; Jermaine Edwards, Rhoda Isabella, Brother Andre, Alicia Taylor, George Nooks, Kukudoo and Nicholet Brown. Additional music will be provided by DJ Sticko. This is a free event that will begin at 4 PM.

The 35th Annual Stellar Awards Will Take Place On Mar. 27th In Las Vegas (@TheStellars)

The Stellar Awards is the first Gospel Music Awards show in America, honoring Gospel Music artists, writers and industry professionals for their contributions to the Gospel Music industry.

The 2020 staging will take place on Friday, March 27th at the Orleans Hotel & Casino – located at 4500 West Tropicana Avenue – in Las Vegas, Nevada from 6 to 9 PM PDT. Both Koryn Hawthorne and Jonathan McReynolds have been tapped with hosting duties this year.

On Ash Wednesday, February 26th, Team Unstoppable will host the 2020 staging of ‘Trelawny Me Born & Grow’ at Stettin Playfield on Main Street in Trelawny. Though this is a secular event gospel recording artist Kevin Downswell will be on hand to represent the gospel.

‘Trelawny Me Born & Grow’ is a family fun day that will run from 11:00 AM to midnight. In addition to the live performances, they will also have bounce-a-bout and merry go round for the kids. Advance tickets are going for $1,000 JMD for adults and $500 for children.
