This Saturday, February 13th at 8:00 PM (Jamaica time), Love 101 FM will continue their 28th anniversary celebration with a pre-valentine’s day event. Artists like Marq Johnson, Rondell Positive, Alicia Taylor, Shawn D. Gedion and others are expected to perform live inside the Gospel Music Machine.

The program will stream live on both traditional media (on the 101 FM dial islandwide) and social media (Love 101’s Facebook page and YouTube channel).

As Kingdom Muzic begins to work on their upcoming album, “Kingdom Psalms 2,” they are sharing the official video for “Child Like Faith,” a beautiful song by Bryann Trejo. “Kingdom Psalms 2” is a follow up to “Kingdom Psalms: Songs of Deliverance,” released in 2016.

On February 5th, popular Tanzanian gospel artist Neema Mudosa released the official video for her now trending single “Mapito.” The song was shared only hours before the visuals were uploaded, and as soon as the song went public it immediately received thousands of download.

The 52nd NAACP Image Awards honors the accomplishments of BIPOC artists across TV, music, film and literature.

Trinidadian gospel reggae singer Sherwin Gardner kicked off 2021 with the release of new music. Literally on the first day in January his team at Fox Fuse shared his latest single, “Ready,” a dancehall / soca tune that gives an insight into his mindset for the remainder of the year.

With a theme of ‘nothing can stop us,’ the organizers of the 22nd annual Super Bowl Gospel Celebration are steaming ahead. The event, which will be presented in a virtual format, will air on BET on Saturday, February 6th starting at 8 PM EST / 7PM CST.

Some of the confirmed performers include: John P. Kee, PJ Morton, Kierra Sheard, Erica Campbell and many more. It will be hosted by the beloved comedian Rickey Smiley.

The former queen of the dancehall, Lady Saw, who is now doing gospel under her birth name Marion Hall, has announced that she is working on a dancehall-gospel album.

The idea was initiated after she released two dancehall songs: “Mi Soon Alright” and “From Mi Born” at the end of December. The tracks, which were well received by both gospel and secular listeners, were done to address certain things that were said about her by other female dancehall artists.
