On Saturday, September 25th, WK Music will present the Keep Your Dreams Alive Concert at the Ebenezer Holiness Church located at 101 Rossdene Drive in North York, Ontario. Starting time is 5:30PM.
Confirmed artists include: 2nd Chance, Anthony Aigbe, Tesharah, Junior Smith, Tonya King and others. All artists will be backed by the Heavy Unit Band. Limited tickets are available via TicketGateway dot com.
In 2019, prior to the covid-19 global pandemic that resulted in the partial shut down of the music industry, reggae-gospel artist Derrick Scott released Hello Jesus. The song is an adaptation of a popular old reggae tune titled Hello Carol, performed by The Gladiators.
At the time Derrick remade the song to affirm his reliance on God, as well as his commitment to his faith. However, as persons are now attempting to get back to their lives, albeit in a new normal, Scott and his team thought it prudent to re-share the track, which is undeniably very relevant in these times.
On a bouncy reggae beat Scott sings: “hello Jesus I’m depending on you; you are at the control, I’m depending on you; from my heart & soul, I’m depending on you.”
This Fall Tauren Wells, Riley Clemmons and Andrew Ripp will head out on the road for the Citizen Of Heaven Tour. It is slated to begin on October 2nd and will run until the end of November.

Broushel Anola is enjoying a lot of success after releasing the remix of her song Victory Surround. The original version was presented on the Strictly Blessed Project Vol.2 – The Female Edition; published by Gospel Vibes Productions earlier this year.

Dancehall-gospel artist Sone G is today sharing his brand new single, Spirit A Move. The hardcore upbeat track is on the Different Riddim compilation, which also features new music from Papa San, Jason Mighty, Rian Davis and others. The entire project is powered by Canadian based record label, Heavenly Waves Productions.
For his part, Sone G, who is arguably one of the most underrated dancehall-gospel artist, uses his song to affirm his faith in the Lord. And being the consummate lyricist, he pulls from popular 90s dancehall songs for familiar melodies, while staying consistent with his message of righteousness.
TVJ has just announced that their gospel program Higher Praise will be returning this Sunday, September 5th, with performances by Rhoda Isabella, Lee ‘Priest’ Johnson & Leony White. The event is scheduled to begin at 3:30 PM local time.
