Bling Dawg Gives New Release Date For His “ELEV8” Album (@Bawse_Dawg)

Since the end of 2020 veteran dancehall artist Bling Dawg has been promising his fans and supporters a new album. He has even put out a few singles that are to be featured on the record, which by-the-way is titled ELEV8.

This past week the deejay shared what looks like the album cover art while simultaneously announcing the following release date: Friday, February 4th, 2022.

Now it would be remiss of me not to say that Bling Dawg did promise to publish the full project last year; so I wouldn’t recommend getting excited until ELEV8 is actually available on digital streaming platforms.

Teflon Addresses The Pandemic In New Video (@TEFLON_JA)

Earlier in the summer – when Jamaica was at the peak of its third wave and the government had the entire island under strict curfews and restrictions – Teflon recorded a tune called Pandemic on the Cry Riddim, produced by FadaRoy Muzik.

On the track the deejay voiced his opinion about covid-19, detailing why he believes we are in this position. Today (December 27th) he shared the song’s official video. Click here or on the image above to watch it and remember to like, comment and share.

Paul Patmore Production Shares Official Video For “Rooted & Grounded”

Since it was released at the beginning of September, Rooted & Grounded – the upbeat dancehall song performed by Terry Linen and Dipmatik – have been getting heavy rotation on radio, as well as consistent feature on music platforms.

The overwhelmingly positive feedback led Paul Patmore, the producer, to create some visuals, hoping that it would give the record even more exposure.

That said, the video was filmed in Falmouth, Trelawney (Jamaica) approximately two weeks ago. It was subsequently edited and have since been released. It tells the story of a drug pusher turned Christian after being robbed and almost killed on the streets of Jamaica.

The visuals were directed, shot and edited by Maria Jackson.

Minister Marion Hall (Formerly Lady Saw) Releases New Music ‘If I Was Famous’

Minister Marion Hall (formerly Lady Saw) is in a reflective mode with her newest single, “If I Was Famous.” The self-produced track, which dropped today, December 17, 2021, paints a stark contrast between her present life as an ordained minister and her past career as a Dancehall artiste.

As she describes, the beat was sent to her by God and she met with Clarky from Chromatic and several musicians that he had worked with before to lay down the track. From that, the lyrics flowed and resulted in a high energy, enticing track.

Distributed by Zojak World Wide, “If I Was Famous” is available for purchase and streaming on major digital platforms online.
