Marion Hall, more popularly known as Lady Saw, will be doing back to back shows in America’s Tri-state area this March. Saw, who is still being referred to as the queen of dancehall, despite her public announcement that she will no longer be doing dancehall music, will be performing under her birth name, Marion Hall.

The first show will be held in Bronx, New York, at Evander Child High School on March 25^th, the second in New Jersey on March 26^th (exact location TBA) and the last in Hartford, Connecticut at the West Indian Social Club Ballroom on March 27^th.

Reggae Link Up, a new monthly reggae event will kick off this Saturday, January 30^th, at Casa Carola in Aarhus, Denmark. The event was created by Jam Link International and it was done with the hopes of keeping the reggae culture alive and vibrant in the city.

The first Reggae Link Up will have two of the most respected selectors, Tiger Moth and Riddim Fex, spinning some of the best reggae and dancehall tracks. One of Jamaica’s most trusted studios for dubplates and jingles was recently attacked by scammers. Persons pretending to work for the popular studio hacked into their social media networking sites and attempted to scam several sounds and selectors out of their money.

Ainsworth, the Director of Operations at Reggae Vibez, has had to implement many changes to the way they do business so as to ensure this does not happen again. Lise Ranks, a producer and artist based in Denmark, has just released her latest single and video entitled “Prisoner.” The song features two verses from Karamanti who met and agreed to work with Lise while touring Europe. “Prisoner” was produced by Lise Ranks in her studio in Aalborg, DK and mixed and mastered by Snysh at Mixing Lab in Kingston, Jamaica. The song is released on Lise’s label, Ranks Records and distributed by Zojak Worldwide.

Jam Link International will be hosting the governor of the dancehall, Lt. Stitchie, in Europe from January 28^th through to March 16^th. Though the lieutenant already has confirmed dates in Hamburg, Frankfurt, Vienna, Aarhus and several other cities, there are still some open dates that need to be filled. Hot off his UK tour, where he completely captivated audiences at big events such as Hootananny Brixton, Faith Chapel in London, Crystal Palace, Glory House and even Feltham Youth Prison, where he ministered to young offenders, Lt. Stitchie is promising a tour like no other. When asked what his fans in Europe can expect, he said: “my last appearance in Europe was in 2013 so I am going there with vengeance to unleash a barrage of my old catalogue plus my new music.”
