Protoje explains what inspired the track: “I wrote this song on a flight home after an extensive summer of touring,” says Protoje about the groovy new song. “I was looking forward to being home, in my house, with my lady and family. I think everybody can relate to missing someone or something. This song can be something you groove to as you make your way back to that.”

Beenie Man & Wormbass are now planning the official video for their track “Bring Back The Paradise,” which is featured on Wormbass’ album, Reggae Man. Though an exact date has not yet been determined, both men recently met to discuss ideas and concepts for the visuals.
Reggae Man was released in 2016 on the Jah Birth record label. The project has fourteen songs (including one bonus track), and in addition to the Beenie Man collaboration, it also features combinations with Sabina, Mtuba Thulisa Brothers and Puzma.

Recording artist Zally will be shooting the official video for the track “Call on Jah.” This is the lead single from his recently released EP with the same name. The video will be shot in and around St. Petersburg and Tampa Bay in Florida on February 22nd. It will be directed by Trae Libra.
“Call on Jah,” the seven-track EP, was officially released on February 1st on the C-Hawk Productions label. It is now available on iTunes, Amazon and all other digital platforms where music is sold.

Lt. Stitchie will receive a Lifetime Award at the 36th International Reggae & World Music Awards (IRAWMA). This is for his more than 35 years of outstanding contributions to reggae music over the years, and it’s in addition to his Best Gospel Entertainer nomination.
The 36th IRAWMA winners will be presented on Sunday, March 18th, 2018, in conjunction with the 37th Annual Chicago Music Awards at the Logan Center for the Arts – University of Chicago in Illinois.
