On Saturday, October 19th, there will be a ‘Reggae Salute’ in the form of a live concert done to honor Jamaica’s National Heroes at Sabina Park (24 South Camp Rd) in Kingston.
The organizers have confirmed Stur Gav Sound, Ugly Man, Peter Metro, Little John, Burro Banton, Boom Boom and Harry Hype to provide some musical entertainment for the patrons. The gates will open at 9 PM and there is an $800 JMD entrance fee.
The Digicel 5K Run for Special Needs will take place on Saturday, October 5, 2019, starting at 7 PM. It offers participants the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of people with Special Needs while running and / or walking through the streets of Downtown Kingston.

A couple days ago Christopher Martin and Romain Virgo shared the official video for their second collaborative single “Glow.” The song was initially released in May on the Top Spot Riddim produced by Maximum Sound.

Mega Banton, the artist that brought us hits like “Sound Boy Killing,” “Mr. Mention” and so many other big tunes from the 90s, will be touching down in Missouri next month. He, alongside emerging artist Tydal Kamau, will be performing at the Ye Ethiopian Lounge (5916 Delmar Blvd) in St. Louis, on Saturday, November 9th.
Doors will open at 9 PM, while the actual show is scheduled for an 11 PM start. Admission is $20 USD.
On Friday, November 15th, veteran reggae / dancehall artist, Anthony B, will be performing at Kola Restaurant & Lounge – located at 32523 Northwestern Hwy – in Farmington Hills, Michigan.
This event will run from 8 PM through to 2 AM the following morning. Tickets, which starts at $25 USD, are available HERE.
On Monday, September 30th, Koffee will perform on one of America’s biggest night time TV program, The Tonight Show, with host Jimmy Fallon and the popular Roots Crew.
The show airs week nights at 11:35 PM EST on the NBC network.
Kaya Herb House presents ‘Dubwise Jamaica’ on Saturday, November 9th at 82 Lady Musgrave Road in Kingston. It will run from 9 PM until 2 AM the following morning. Music will be provided by David Rodigan, Rory Stone Love and Renaissance.
There will be a $2,500 admission fee at door.
