On the weekend, two dancehall giants: Bounty Killer and Agent Sasco, along with singer Chevaughn and LC (Sasco‘s daughter), added their voices to the conversation.

Two titans of reggae, Julian Marley and Junior Reid join forces on the lyrically social commentary track, Mother Nature. Highlighting continuing issues of our treatment of both the earth and ourselves.

The track is a combined production of Breaking Expectations and J-Rod Records. They enlisted the top flight mixing engineer Veer V. Dhaniram together with background vocalist Sherieta Lewis and mastering genius Duane “Midilord” Summers.

International dancehall superstar Beenie Man teams with Jamaican remix king DJ Delano and Latin Grammy-winning producer DJ Buddha on their new single “The Keys” (Renaissance Disco/Therapist Music) out today on all DSPs.

Widely hailed as the king of dancehall, Beenie Man is an icon of Jamaican music with hits spanning four decades. His recent Verzuz clash with fellow dancehall giant Bounty Killer was one of the most watched editions of Timbaland and Swizz Beatz’s era-defining Instagram Live series, generating over 1.25 billion total social media impressions and upping the ante on the Verzuz series with its thrilling live performances.

Freshly reintroduced to the mainstream music market, Beenie is in vintage form on “The Keys,” a banger blending dancehall and moombahton vibes into a club-ready mix. A team effort, the track was co-produced by DJ Buddha and DJ Delano, along with Renaissance Disco’s DJ 3D (Delano’s son) and Sean Wedderburn, and given a final mix by Aruban DJ Steve Andreas.

The three day staging of the 2020 Chiala Afrika Festival will take place this weekend, starting on Friday at 8 PM UTC. It will be held at the Oeversee Park (Graz, Austria), which has enough space to accommodate a crowd while maintaining social distancing.

The organizers have added reggae artist Anthony B to the lineup, confirming that he will be supported by a live band.
