Dancehall Artist Lion Face Shoots Video For His Single “Survivor”

On Friday, February 26th, Jackson Town recording artist, Lion Face Italawah, shot the official video for his song “Survivor.” The track, which is featured on the Mountain Top Riddim (produced by Haile Cush Records), has become somewhat of an anthem in and around the Jackson Town community (located in Kingston, Jamaica).

Survivor” applauds persons who have managed to overcome poverty, especially through hard work. 

In keeping with the message in the song, the visuals – directed by Maria Jackson – will show several inner-city youths who are committed to diligently changing their lives. It is currently being edited and will be ready for release by mid March.

Sizzla Kalonji & Shaggy Among Headliners For The ‘Jamaica Rum Festival’ On March 27th

Despite the rise in covid-19 cases in Jamaica, the organizers of the ‘Jamaica Rum Festival’ have decided to present the event, albeit in a virtual format. This year’s concert will be held on Saturday, March 27th from 3 PM to 9 PM.
