Dancehall/gospel artiste Lt. Stitchie, fresh from his solid performance in NY this summer and his subsequent tour of England is heading back across the pond for a second time this year. From December 17th through January 4th, 2016, the Governor will perform at soon to be announced events in the United Kingdom. The tour is being facilitated by Flyers & Tickets HQ in collaboration with Silver Fox.
On wax, the DJ released ‘Letter to Dad’ that got everyone talking this summer. Long time fans who knew the Governor from back in the late 80’s when songs like ‘Wear Yuh Size’ and ‘Natty Dread’ were hot picks in the dancehall reminisced over the Stitchie of old, while a whole new generation of youngsters got turned on to the dj and were amazed at his musical genius and his ability to ride the riddim. Stitchie’s other summer release titled “Nuh Necessary,” stirred controversy because of the way he seemingly defended incarnated Dancehall artist, Vybz Kartel with selected parts of the song.
