Jermaine Edwards Says He Was Nervous Performing On Rebel Salute (@jermaineedwards)

jermaine edwardsJermaine Edwards, arguably one of the biggest gospel artist out of Jamaica, performed on day 1 (Friday, January 17th) at Rebel Salute – a roots, reggae, rasta festival. It is clear that he was not in his comfort zone when he hit the stage because he was noticeably holding back.

Although he eventually worked out the kinks and delivered his set, he did admit afterwards that “he was nervous because he is accustomed to performing on gospel and corporate events, and this was his first time on Rebel Salute.”

I personally wanted him to do a longer set. With such a big catalog, and this being his first time at this type of event, this was an opportunity to expand his fan base.
