This past Sunday, May 27th, veteran reggae artist Mikey General worked on the visuals for his song Zion Gate, taken from the new album Tewahedo.
With director Maria Jackson, Mikey went to three locations – the outskirts of Hellshire Beach, Greendale Drive and Caymanas Bay River – in Kingston. They captured shots to support the theme of the song. Some of the scenes included: Mikey General reading the Bible and affirming his commitment to spreading the message of love and togetherness, and Mikey General reasoning with his friends about the importance of being good to others.
The video is currently being edited and should be released in approximately two weeks.
