Tariq, aka Black Thought from the original hip-hop band, The Roots, delivered a mind blowing freestyle for approximately 10 minutes on Hot97 a few days ago. Hip-hop fanatics are going crazy over it! With all these emerging rap artists focusing all their attention on creating a catchy hook, as oppose to providing substantive lyrical content, it was refreshing to hear an authentic MC deliver.
