A few days ago dancehall lyricist Karamanti shared a new song titled “Genesis19.” The record, which is literally about the bible book and chapter after which it is named, is on Karamanti‘s own Blakkwuman22 Music label.
Similar to her previous releases, “Genesis19” is also very opinionated and, according to some critics, extremely thought-provoking. Known for her hardcore style, Karamanti reveals another side on this track as in addition to deejaying, she is also reading verses found in the aforementioned chapter.
The song was recorded at Anchor Studio in Kingston, Jamaica by Lampshade and mixed and mastered by Donald ‘Tixie’ Dixon (Anthony B‘s engineer).
