When I first heard that several established artists entered the 2020 Jamaica Festival Song Competition, I immediately began questioning their motives. My thinking was that the competition should be left to emerging acts only, so that they can use it as a launching platform for their careers.
I quickly changed my thinking after hearing some of the songs in the top ten. I have to say that the big acts really delivered, and you can hear their love for Jamaica in every line of their songs.
