In a press briefing held earlier this evening, Prime Minister Andrew Holness announced that the island’s beaches will reopen for public use as of Sunday, June 7th, 2020.

The reopening will come with several protocols that must be adhered to: 1) opening hours are from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM; 2) no socializing are allowed (partying, dominoes etc.); 3) restaurants should not make chairs and tables available to patrons; and finally, 4) vendors are not allowed to walk and sell on the beach.
