As the global shut down continues to hurt performing artists, especially those accustomed to touring several times a year, more and more reggae and dancehall acts are taking to social media to encourage their fans to stay home.
International reggae artist Cocoa Tea is the latest to join that list. Over the weekend he posted the following message on his Facebook page:
“Greetings to all my facebook fams please remember to do the necessary things to keep yourself and everyone around you safe , remember to do social distancing wash your hands very regularly disinfect your surroundings, sanitize everything insite and most of all stay away from congregation and never forget to give praises to the almighty,.remember we’re all in this thing together and with help of jah we shall over come, so in order for us all to see this through please stay @ home. jah bless you all !!!”
