Tad’s Record recently released Just in Time by George Nooks. This track inspires and encourages the faint of heart who are faced with obstacles and troubles which may seem insurmountable.
George Nooks continues his spiritual journey with the release of this empowering song, which is a prelude to his upcoming Gospel album slated for release later this year. Just in Time is produced by George Nooks with executive producers Tad A. Dawkins and Tad A. Dawkins Jr.
Veteran singer Marcia Griffiths is hoping to score with her latest single Queen of Paradise. The song is produced by the legendary duo Sly Dunbar and Robbie Shakespeare.
‘Queen of Paradise was written for me by Chronixx and it was produced by Sly and Robbie‘, said Marica in a media release.
This isn’t the first time Griffiths has worked with the famed riddim twins. Her 1996 album Land of Love which features the track Stay, was also produced by Sly & Robbie.
Griffiths, who earlier this year signed with the Donsome Booking Agency for representation, continues to score hits on the South Florida and The Foundation Radio Network (TFRN) Reggae charts.
In March, Too Good at Goodbyes, reached number three and number five respectively on the South Florida and TFRN charts. Last year she topped both charts with King of Babylon.
Griffiths recently performed at the Kaya Festival, Oxygen Fete series in Bermuda and the Love and Harmony Cruise.

Focused on smuggling the message of righteousness, justice, awareness through his music, Kabaka Pyramid is adamant on delivering a potent type of music to the ears of the people. Too often the music with a message of upliftment is not shared and more often silenced from the masses, therefore he is prepared to push it like a contraband.
Off his debut album the infectiously catchy Reggae title track, Kontraband produced by Damian ‘Jr Gong’ Marley, delivers the true essence of what Kabaka Pyramid album represents. The visuals, directed by Eric Coleman, was captured in the desert of California and shows both Damian Marley and Kabaka Pyramid being removed from their tour bus in search of contraband. With the made for movie type video, you are immediately drawn into the activities taking place and wondering what will happen next. Both Kabaka and Damian depict the profiling, which many reggae artists face while on tour. Throughout the video the officers search the artists to find a possible forbidden substance and instead find CDs. What the artists are smuggling is music, music for the masses.
On Tuesday, June 26th, Ruach Ru will be releasing the much anticipated official video for her song Mr. Player Man. It was directed by Rael Emmanuel of Two Fold Creative Studios (11Fold), with Milton Vanna doing the editing and Sharae Winn taking credits for the still images.

Young Veterans’ label releases the Fire Avenue Riddim compilation featuring a host of artists exclusively on the Artekal Music reggae streaming platform.
Through a partnership forged between Artekal Music and the Young Veterans independent reggae record label, the complete Young Veterans catalog will now be available for streaming via Artekal Music. This of course includes the label’s latest roots rhythm, Fire Avenue Riddim, featuring Capleton, Luciano, Pressure, Fantan Mojah, Shuga, Ginjah, Ras Shiloh, Kandiman, Fyakin, Qraig, Hikaliba, Zamunda, and Anthony B.
After months of hard work in the studio, the Young Veterans’ team is happy to finally announce the release of the Fire Avenue Riddim. They are also very excited about unveiling it via the Artekal Music platform.
