At the end of October, reggae/dancehall artist Hitman Walle shared the official video for his single, “miss you I cry.” Shortly after the release of the video, the song – which came out in May 2016 – began to get favorable rotation, particularly in South Africa, Zimbabwe, England and Germany.
“Miss you I cry” was inspired by Menudo’s “by my side.” It was produced by Andrew Robinson and mixed by Izrah for A.R.W.M Swiss Jam Records and Izrah Music. As for the visuals, it was shot in and around Ochi Rios, Kingston and Spanish Town (by Clint Smith); with director credits going to both Hitman Walle and Clint Smith.
The song is now getting consistent radio and club spins in the aforementioned territories. It can be streamed and downloaded from iTunes and all other digital music platforms.
