A few days ago, dancehall artist Karamanti released a brand new single entitled “wake up.” Unlike her previous records, “wake up” is very dark, aggressive and borders on the line of violent. The reason for this is, though it was just released, the song was actually written and recorded a long time ago. As such, it does not reflect Karamanti’s current level of maturity.
