This week, Karamanti will publicize the first single from her upcoming EP, “The Black God,” which is slated to be out in February, 2017. The song is a collaboration with reggae veteran Mikey General entitled Back Against The Wall.

Originally recorded for D’Áve Productions’ SoNu Riddim (roots reggae), Back Against The Wall was not released as the label placed the project on hold. They later joined forces with Karamanti’s publishing house, Blakkwuman22 Music, to assist in the production and promotion of the rhythm. That being said, although the single is being released this week, persons can look forward to the entire riddim featuring various artists soon.
