After a minor scuffle between himself and Mr. Vegas at the 2015 Irie Jam Anniversary Concert in New York City this summer, Red Rat has been busy in the studio working on new material. In an attempt to show that he is still at the top of his game, Red Rat went on a seven days music fast, recording one song a day. The end result is an EP that is set to be released on all digital music stores on October 9th, 2015.

The EP, which is entitled 777 is very confrontational, lyrical, hardcore, inspirational, and that is just a few words that immediately comes to mind to describe what could very well be Red Rat’s return to the forefront of the Dancehall industry. Red Rat clearly is still very relevant with alot to offer a genre that is in desperate need of guidance.
