Recording a reggae album in Jamaica is a big dream come true for most Africans, especially for those doing reggae music. You should therefore be feeling the euphoria surrounding the news that the singer doctor Knii Lante, a fast rising roots reggae voice from Ghana, has not only recorded in Jamaica, but has also been listed to perform alongside some of reggae’s most respected voices.
Every year Flames Productions stages what has become a staple on the world live music events calendar, in Jamaica, dubbed ‘Rebel Salute’. The 20th Anniversary will take place on the 16th & 17th of January, 2015, at the Richmond Estate in Priory, St. Ann.
